well it had been a long day today. the early class, afternoon classes followed by work. work was an hour and half longer than usual because "the state" is coming and we had to clean everything perfectly. after that is was straight to homework and reading. midnight rolled around and i was starving, so i decided to take a drive to steak and shake about 15 minutes away, and enjoy some Dead to get that stress off. i put in the 4th disc of "Ladies and Gentelmen, The Grateful Dead, April 1971". well it went through that awesome lineup on the way there of Drums-Jam-Goin Down the Road Feelin Bad-Cold Rain and Snow. and on the way back, Casey Jones started. anyone that has heard this version will know what i'm talking about, it's just amazing. well that really fast part at the end started, and i just had one of those moments. that "feeling" that i'm assuming every Dead Head has every once in awhile, wear you hear and feel the music, and everything is just perfect. the kind of moment that reminds me why i love the Dead as much as I do. all the stress is gone, and the steak and shake tasted awesome. on a side note, what do you think of this album? later guys
Fire! Fire on the Mountain!
