My imagination is far, far exceeding my budget. But when I see a real 70's Alembic fretboard on Ebay, I want it.

Per the seller it's a 34" scale with 24 fret slots, 1 3/4" at the nut end and 23 1/4" (????) at the body end. it's just under 1/4" thick with the maple backing. Exactly the same spacing as my Phil/Bolt bass, or standard four-string P-bass spacing - might go that way just for something different. (I like how a four-string is something new and different for me
I played a few JGB tunes on four-string at our last gig and didn't have much trouble.) Plus a four-string would take some pressure off my dad to build a perfect neck on his first try. His response was "I'm game"
Anyone have a good, hopefully scalable template for a Wolf body and headstock?
