Got it. If the d/l limit is reached and others aren't able to get it, maybe I can setup an alternate source somewhere.

Thanks for this, but for us mac users, I now have a php file that my computer isn't sure how to read. Any help would be appreciated, as I'd love to have this!! Thanks.

I'm still curious to know just whose list of favorites these are... because this doesn't match the 1991 survey of 200 people that was included in Deadbase 6. Especially all the versions listed from 1992,93,94 and 95

you gotta point, TS. I'm suprised that in this two page forum you're the only one who's noticed that.

You are the golden child.

I'm still listening to this collection (I'm up to Hell in a Bucket) and I have to disagree with about 90% of these selections. Particuarly egregious is the Dire Wolf selection. Ick. A "best" Good Morning Little Schoolgirl not sung by Pig? Hardly. Eyes of the World that's not 10-19-74? No.

However, I will point out that the HC Sunshine is fucking awesome. 2-15-73. If anyone has a SBD of this show, I'd like to talk to you about a trade.

A healthy debate starter for sure. I'd be interested as well in which DB this comes from. I have two of them, so I'll check them tonight to see if it's from either.

It amazes me, deadheads are the only group that gripes about free tunes.

Thank you it's a very nice thing you've hosted.

Personally, I'm using it as a springboard for my favorites but honestly, I would not take the time to have done this on my own so I am very grateful.

Gripe in what sense? Complain that something doesn't sound good? Is not something I like? I don't find that unique among deadheads. I find that unique among humans though.

Just because something's free doesn't mean that someone can't critique something.

Sure criticize all you want but it doesn't take away from how petty it looks that someone went through the time and effort to put together a large collection of great tunes and offer it up for free for some other people to be bitching about it.

Fine disagree that they aren't the best but geez, a blatant lack of appreciation combined with the feeling of 'derserving the best for free' is almost exclusively unique to deadheads with regards to the music.
