interesting that the requirements put alot of folks out of the running. Especially considering the actual members of the band's history.

My wife's in the museum biz and her mom's a big-time librarian... amazing the requirements they have for curator/archivist positions. Man, sounds like a dream job... I Google Earthed Santa Cruz (never been there) - looks sweet!

I guess I am out of the running. I dropped out of college to go on tour! I see you need a masters degree.

Not bad pay either, up to almost $70K per year.

Santa Cruz is indeed one of the "sweetest" places on the planet. I lived on the beach by a rock with about 40 other heads after the Ventura shows ended the summer 85 tour we stayed there until the Borreal Ridge show started the late summer early fall Southwest tour.
Some of the best months of my life. People either Love or Hate GD 1985. Personally I loved it. Inventive setlists, very energetic jams, and some fantastic venues. The 85 haters harp on Jerry's voice which was admittedly very uneven that year.(especially late spring tour, Providence>Philly.

Having missed only the BCT run that whole year, my opinion is obviously skewed.

Anyway, Santa Cruz gets a huge thumbs up.
