Bankhead- you see how fate can be kind to you. You weren't destined to find that Mars 2112. And it worked out for the better-believe me. Your kids might have liked it, but you did better no matter where else you went.
I visited a friend once in Queens, and the bozo took me there with his wife and kids, knowing I was going to flip the bill. I told him I wanted to go someplace really cool with good food.
The food in there was like TV dinners served on dishes. The spacey atmosphere was limp, imagine your waiter dressed in a Star-Trek uniform, but talked like a hitman from the Luchesse Mob Family. The bill came to just under 100 bucks for 3 adults and 2 3rd graders.
And here is a little rag for the heck of it- when you commented about Edgewater looking like a primarily industrial/commercial zone--Yeah, that's the entire top-half of NJ.

"...and when your fingers find her she drowns you in her body, carving deep blue ripples in the tissues of your mind..."
