I was taking my guitar in to get some work done . . . again and while I was waiting for my buddy who does repairs I saw a couple of amps that might be interesting to someone here.
1. Early 70s Fender Twin that has been put in a head - 85w Silverface. Danny thinks it's a 70-72. He put the amp into the head for a local steel guitar player. They still have the original combo box but no speakers. They're asking $650.
2. Mesa Boogie Mark V - barely used. The owner had a bad back and traded in for something lighter. Has a little ding on it but otherwise looks brand new. Has all the paperwork, amp cover, even the box it was delivered in. $1700.

The guys that own this place are friends and I play with them on occasion, even the steel guitar player is someone I know well. I have no skin in this game kickback or otherwise. Just two cool used amps.
