Not to incriminate anyone or anything, but lately I've noticed that my lungs are starting to age. So, I'm thinking of investing in a vaporizer. Can anyone share their experiences with me? Good models? Noticeable breathing benefits? Anyone missing the 3-footer?

I have a cheap one that I use once in awhile and when I have the funds to do so will probably invest in a better one. Maybe this one:

The great thing about them is that all you are doing is inhaling the psychoactive material, not the plant material making it easier on your lungs.

The taste is a little different though.

Vapir makes a good one. My "friend" owns one and has used it for years---likes it alot....misses the 3 foot Graphics but one cannot defy the aging process forever you know.

Generally, you get what you pay for which means there's a benifit from the ability for the vape to maintain a constant temp....very key. Lots of them are good for a while and then they start to get troublesome, especially cheaper "box" types.

The best you can get is the Volcano---I believe it'll set you back at least 5 benjamins.

I got one of the box-types w/ the glass on glass whip attachment. Love it! It is easier on your lungs in that there's no combustion so no smoke. But that vapor can have you coughing like crazy too if you're not careful. Vaping like smoking is a pretty personal thing and you get your own method with time. Took me a couple days to really get used to using it but I'm certainly glad to have it. Hope you find one you like!!

I have a Voodoo which is basically the same as a VapirOne. I have read that some people have had their fan fail on them but I have never had a problem with mine. I think its great. Its not quite what a Volcano is, but at less than half the price still produces stellar results.

The effects that it produces are a little different than actual smoking. There are times when I want to smoke and there are times when I want to vape. Either way, its a great tool to have, and it will lighten the load on your lungs.

Get a Vapro. No fuss with the balloon or bag or anything. It's basically like smoking a bowl but at a safer heat. I have used pretty much every vape on the market and this is my unchallenged favorite for ease of use and buzz.

I've heard good things about both the Volcano and the Vapro. Obviously the Vapro is more in price range, but how does the thing work?

Do you fit one of their glass pipes right over the heating element? Does it come with a standad pipe, or some kind of tube?

Yep, the glass pipe it comes with has a thumb carb. In your other hand, you use the vapro as the heating element, just like lighting a bowl. Takes a few tires to figure out how to just get it close enough to where you don't brown the herbs. The first few times you'll say to yourself. "I'm not sure I got anything". That is when you know you are doing it right. You'll taste it, there just isn't any smoke. The buzz is really fantastic and for one who is an aficionado of different strains of herbs, it is also fantastic as you can taste all kinds of nuances you would never taste if you just ignited it. Takes about 7 minutes to warm the vapro up to the proper heat. Has an idle level too so you don't have to turn it off and wait another 7 minutes for the next guy.

I have moved from NYC to Florida and back to NJ over a 6 year period and that thing is built like a tank and has survived every move. The pyrex bowls are, well pyrex. Tough but not indestructible which is why I say order a backup. Enjoy.
