would it be fair to say that the first drums, and space first appeared on Anthem of the sun?
the last couple minutes of Other one really sound like a Spacey-type thing. and then the drum solo in alligator.
in a lot of concerts, the setlists say "Alligator>Space>Alligator"
the 2nd "alligator" being the part where they go "ALLLIGATOOOOORR" because the live versions and the studio versions of alligator have the same structure, in that sense.
another question: why did the dead keep playing Morning Dew and Other One as their two psychedelic jams. they had some others from back in the day that i thought would be cool to hear in 95.
