I played a couple of Ritters a long while ago in NYC, way before any Phil involvement. My take on them was they were cool. Balance was perfect so, the weight was a non issue. But picking it up it was heavy, once strapped on you just don't notice weight at all. You do notice that the thing is F'n HUGE. the body while ergonomic is just overwhelming.

Played really nice. Sound to me was very P bass like. lots of THUD but not a lot of sparkle or cut.
And at the time they wanted close to $3k. I thought it was way over priced then.. Unless you are close to 7' tall, you really look silly with one of these strapped on..

The guy has some bad reviews about returns and that he offered them to the angry buyers, then noticed he gives only merchandise credit on returns, 9K merchandise credit? c'mon!!
