I just got a k120 i ordered and was told it was in good shape. has a what looks like a factory recone dated from the 90s. the speaker came with a small cab and the speaker was loose behind the grill with pieces of the baffle board broken out where the screws would have gone!
The speaker rubbed like crazy when I first pressed on it. I plugged it in just to check it out and it still rubbed. I was pressing on the cone a little more and the rubbing seemed to almost go away after a while. there is only a slight rub now when pressing on it but very minimal. When being played you don't hear any rubbing.
Should I be concerned and send it back. It was insured. I do not feel like dumping money into it for a recone.
They guy I bought it from said it was tested just before it went out and he didn't notice any problems. Could being thrown around in shipping could have messed it up and it have been corrected with working it?
