totally just kidding, in fact Melvin's latest touring line-up is really first-rate, and some of my bandmates and I recently had the great pleasure of tearing up a stage with the guitarist Stu and, briefly, Marty the bassist in well-staged, well-attended "guerrilla" gig. Only rule of thumb for the jam was "no JGB songs"... a tall order!
But back to the topic... I guess my JGB listening habits are fairly similar to my GD habits (mostly 68-74,79-84ish and 87-90) except I listen to way more of the 75-76-77-78 and 92-93 stuff (a lot of great tunes found nowhere else)... and oddly, less early 70's stuff by comparison... I know there are a boatload of great recordings from that period that I've been putting off delving into!! Gotta save something for my old age I guess.
