I did some searching on the forum for the exact bolt specs and it couldnt really nail it down. The reason I am asking is that I am thinking of stocking a Resurrection Bolt for sale. It takes Pat about 6 to 9 months for a build. If I could stock one I would be able to deliver it right away. Pat and I have been discussing this and some other projects at length and I am really warming up to the idea. (Although I am not really too warmed up to the idea of selling it once I get it! But that is the business I am in.)

But I am not sure of all the specs etc.

I was thinking that I would want it just about exactly like the one Jerry played. Although I was thinking about adding a Piezo pickup because I know that it would be a good addition tot he guitar and jerry was going to have piezo in his next guitar.

So is there list with all the specs, pups, fret size and all that good stuff? I heard that he had it rewired or that he put in midi but I really dont know too much about it.

Right on Jack, I think that will sell the best of the"Custom" stuff you are getting into...Plus, you'd be one of the only guitar brokers that "Stocks" such a fine instrument. AND you get to play it whenever you want!!! I looked around the sites for what you are looking for, and the same old article about Cripe pops up, or a variation of it... I thought Waldo got to fine tooth comb it when he got the chance to kindly molest Jerry's guitars....

I havent placed an order with Pigtronix yet. I can get dealer pricing now but havent stocked anything. I was going to wait until the NAMM show in Nashville in a couple of weeks in case I could get a better deal. I know I have the dealer price sheet either here (at home) or at my office somewhere so if there is something you need let me know and I'll hunt for it.

One thing that resurrection does is use 2 sprague orange drop .047 caps instead of .022 ceramic disc caps. I personally tried a variety of different ones and have settled on mojo dijon .022. They seem to tame the brittleness a bit without being flat.

They seem to have learned a bit more about the electronics though. They used to only use 1 cap shared between both tone pots.

Also, their grounding is the standard loop type - one pot jumpered over to the next... instead of one main ground bus.

Another thing - I imagine that Bolt had a dual ganged pot for the bridge/neck pickup like Tiger did. Resurrection uses just one 500k pot.
