Cryptical Envelopment
If the main criterion is a 1st-person lyrical perspective, then there are certain instances where I can say usually do NOT get that sense, such as:
A)Cover songs. Only JG & RH together could make a song that was Jerry.
B)a lot of Murder, Drinking, Cowboy, or Gambling-themed songs like Candyman, Dire Wolf, BE Women, Jack Straw or Deal
I guess it really takes something undefinable, but some others that put me "right in Jerry's shoes" are
Mississippi Half-Step (exception to the gambling reference)
Fire On The Mountain
Scarlet Begonias
and of course every one of his late-period songs had extremely personal feels to them:
Standing On The Moon
Lazy River Road
Foolish Heart
Built To Last
Believe It
the aforementioned Days
...So Many Roads
