I do a lot of video interviews for my work and I do a lot of editing to make idiots sound like geniuses - same kinda thing - different goal. I did an interview with a newspaper a while ago and not being one to take myself seriously I made some jokes and were of course quoted out of context and I came off sounding like a flippant jerk - sarcasm and irony don't come across in the press. There's a great scene in the movie "Bull Durham" where Kevin Costner's character is working with Tim Robbin's character on his cliche's for interviews. There's a a reason why they do this because if you say too much they'll edit you to look like an ass so they can make a story out of nothing. "I'm lucky to be here" "I just want to help the team" etc . . . if you say more than that you'll look like a douche.
I am a bigger dick, and cant play guitar as well as he.
I don't like to hear anything thing artists have to say...because they are all dickish...
