When it doesn't fit anywhere else

So I saw Mr. Popper and the boys last night at our new Fillmore in Charlotte. First off let me say that the venue is friggin cherry pie! The set up is cool and since they renovated an old factory they managed to keep it's industrial feel with some of the original exposed brick, wood floors etc.. Very classy. I think it holds around 1,300 peeps or so and has some pretty good upcoming shows booked for example: Lenny Kravitz, Roger Daultry, and get this Foreigner

I'll get down to it. This was my first Blues Travler show and right about now I'm kicking myself for not seeing them sooner. What a show. The boys seemed to be in good spirits and it really showed with their performance. Energy is all I have to say. Popper's voice is as strong as ever and well ya'll know the skill the man has on the harp. Which reminded me. I must have seen him toss at least 6 or 7 harps in the crowd last night. He'd be ripping in one key and grab another harp at the same time and just transition right to the other harp with out missing a beat. He then proceed to toss the other harp in the audience. This happened like I said at least 6 or 7 times. Very cool if you ask me.

Anyway I just wanted to drop a line and let ya'll know that if the Travler comes to your area and you weren't thinking about going to think again and get out there. They sounded awesome.
 and may Jerry be with you!
