When it doesn't fit anywhere else

I found a great local amp tech. So I brought him my old Peavey Heritage VTX that sat in my closet 15 or 20 years.

It sounded like crap but I figured I would fix it up since I heard so many good things about it.

Well, a couple of hundred dollars later (including tubes) and that thing is amazing. It sounds great at all volumes, I am really very impressed with it. Everything is working perfectly. I may sell even my Fender twin it sound so nice. (I say that but I probably wont).

I really was very pleasantly surprised at the tone even a bit shocked. Now I think I'll invest a little more money and buy some casters. When I first got it 20 years ago it was much lighter and didnt need casters! (sucks getting old)

HA! Cracked me up! There's nothing heavier than a played amp!
