Tons of features, but I wish for separate pre-amp and power-amp modeling. Or how about a rectifier option (tube/solid state) and defeatable speaker emulation on the balanced line outs. The distortion generation seems to be going for the combination of preamp and poweramp distortion and there is no way to separate the two. Pretty cool amp for a top 40 cover band, though.

I tried this amp with a my PRS bolt-on that is customized with 3 DiMarzio Super 2 H.B.s (standard strat with coil-cut switches for single coil sounds. Mostly, I play Jerry Garcia stuff (approx 150 4-hour shows a year) in a band where I am trying to cop Garcia's tone from a particular year. To that end I also play a strat (standard setup) and a Vantage (neck-thru,2 humbuckers) to get those sounds and I was looking for a tube pre-amp that would save multiple presets. Garcia's basic amp setup (with some short exceptions) from '73-'95 was a hotrodded Fender Twin Reverb with the power amp section gutted running into a linear power amp (MacIntosh 2300) driving open-back cabinets loaded with JBLs. Unfortunately, I could not integrate the "CT" into my setup, as I could not deactivate the speaker-emulation eq on the line-outs. Also, I experienced some latency in the pick attack, although not as bad as the Digitech Studio preamp I tried a few months back. This amp has a great variety of fairly authentic Fender amp sounds, however, and has a much better feel than any of the amp-modeling products I've tried.
