And it doesn't come with a power supply! It's a unique/proprietary sorta power supply. Fucking bastard. Who the fuck sells something without a power supply?!
I'm giving him til noon. Then paypal is gonna earn their 2%. Item is not as described, "works well."

Thanks for listening and saving me a trip to the shrink's! HA!

Seriously, if you buy something on eBay or anywhere used, do you assume it comes with a power supply?

I bought my stereo korg reverb unit and e-mailed him to make sure everything worked , he said yeah, when I unpacked the box it took exactly 2 seconds to see the stereo output jack wasn't even there, and the old stand by , I was selling it for a friend...
good luck.

Such language for 6:55 am. You better smoke a jay before work today.

I don't assume ANYTHING when it comes to ebay.

Caveat Emptor Greg, caveat emptor...

Simply put - NO! you don't assume it comes with a power supply. You don't assume anything. Did it say power supply included? Is it an item that can also be powered by batteries? If so then for sure you cant assume it comes with the power supply.

Assuming this isnt a pedal.....I would say you have a valid point. But a piece of equipment on the other hand ...
When I bought my Mackie mixer this happened to me - the power chord was missing ....How does it work well when it cant even power up ??????? It came with it new .....
Everyone has the wall warts laying around but if it is a specific power supply I would say give 'em hell.
:D

Ebay is awsome! Ebay sucks ass! this is a daily back and forth with me. Sometimes you score and sometimes you get ripped off. I recently bought a new power amp using BIN it did not come in the box, no manual, no power cord? how would you say this is new? Then Ive had it go the other way when I think the seller did not know what they had or it was listed wrong or they were just idiots point being you never can tell. Ebay is awesome! Ebay sucks ass! 2 cents!

I thought I saw the power cord wrapped under it. However upon closer inspection it was a shadow.
It's a rack unit with a unique power supply. If it was a standard 9v dc or IEC connector no worries.

Ughh. I'm feeling your pain.

Parametric rack eq requiring a specific power supply made by the manufacturer. Hell is coming.

LOL! FTR, I wasn't an ass and a half to him.

Here is what I wrote, " Hi! You did not send the power supply for the EQ. Was that an oversight?"

Now that I know what it is, then I would think I would assume it came with a power supply or cord of some sorts.

If you bought a dvd player you wouldn't think to ask if it came with a plug.

That being said, oversights do happen. I have sold more than 5000 items on ebay and have had an oversight or two.

The last time was about 6 months ago. A guy did a BIN on a guitar and I promised some free shit with BIN. Well I forgot to put the free shit in that box. The guy emailed me wanting to know where his free stuff was. I wrote him back apologizing and telling him that I just plain forgot about it. Which was the truth.

I think that since I told the truth and didnt try to wiggle my way out with some lame excuse he was very cool about it. I just sent the stuff and he left a positive.

Yeah to Strummin!!

I know just how to wisper (when they're playing Stella)
and I know just how to cry (when Jerry died)
I know just how to find the answers (ask RUKind)
and I know just how to lie (from selling on ebay)
I know just how to fake it (when I forget the solo)
and I know just how to scheme (and get in without a ticket)
I know just when to face the truth (that I'm not such a good guitar player)
and I know just when to dream (maybe Bobby will take a shave)
and I know just where to touch you (first string 10th fret/second string 11th fret)
and I know just what to prove (officer can you prove that is my bag?)
I know when to pull you closer (when we are handcuffed together)
and I know when to let you loose (when you said Vince is your fav key player)
and I know the night is fading (when they play Morning Dew)
and I know the times goin' by (when only people over 30 saw Jerry live)
and I'm never gonna tell you everything I gotta tell ya (really Bob shave that thing)
but I know I'm gonna give it a try (everytime I am in ear shot Weir)
and I know the roads to riches (don't be a musician)
and I know the ways to fame (Reality TV)
I know all the rules and I know how to break 'em (the urinator)
and I always know the name of the game (making fun of Air Supply)
But I don't know how to leave you (quitting the band)
and I'll never let you fall (pick up your china doll)
and I don't know how you do it making love out of nothing at all (deadheads everywhere but esp. Strummin)

Sorry folks, I'm out of work and bored. :D
