Whats going on Kinder's

Wondering if anyone is heading down to Live Oak, FL for the Bear Creek Music Festival? I'd be cool to sit down and jam with some fellow rukinders if you are. I'll have a thrasher's cap on (I think Im the only person still wearing anything to do with the Thrasher's) and will be working with Shimon, probably doing parking or hospitality. Should be an awesome time!

This festival was the FUNK.
Dumpstafunk, Lettuce, Everyone Orchestra, Soulive, New Mastersounds, DDBB, ALL of them completely tore it up and brought their own mix of funk to the table. Derek Trucks made a guest appearance and pretty much played with every band on Friday night. As did Lettuce's guitar and keyboardist, and the horns rang all weekend! I definitely suggest this festival to anyone who wants to hear some crazy old school, raw funkage!
I think I'm setting a record for uses of the word funk, but seriously, this festival brought it all weekend, and it was an amazing sight and sound to behold.

HeavyNylon, next time I run into you hopefully I have some guitars to jam on!

Dude i love the new mastersounds!!!! were they tight as hell or what? What tunage did they play brosef?

Yes, weirimpressed, I agree. That was a fantastic festival! Despite the rain and the drastic temperature swings, we had a blast. And don't forget about Yonder.

I was very impressed by the venue - both for camping and listening. I haven't been to too many festivals, but this was definately the best so far. I will be back soon. Maybe Springfest.

And, yes, we will have to play again soon.
