Hey All

I just transfered from Georgia State University to the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs), and am enrolled in a music business certificate program. If you have a minute, check it out at www.terry.uga.edu/musicbusiness. One of my classes coming up is taking a protools lesson from John Keane, and promote new west records new artist, benji hughes. Its been pretty cool so far, and my teachers are awesome. Just wondering if anyone on here had any heard of it/is taking it currently/ has taken the courses.

thanks everyone,
btw Strummin, Im still waiting on a response to my reply in the scarlet forum.I swear its in E!

its awesome. yesterday, I met the guy that promoted for Cake and Widespread Panic when their first albums came out, and put Metallica on the radio!

"Only 13 stations wanted them, the others told me to go kiss my ass". good quote

but strummin, the thread was something like "scarlet is the best song ever" or something along those lines. I just remember you posted something about scarlet not being in a key, and I posted an argument to that comment

Im rockin E all the way!

Awesome!

Oh yes, that one. I still don't think it follows any rules but will defend your right to say it's E! I personally see it chaning keys.

Verses are totally in E. However that F# major breaks rules and that whole walk from E to F# to A to B totally fucks it all up!

Sweet, on a side note Benji Hughes also has roots hear in the Queen city as well, he splits his time b/t LA and CLT from what i've read. He is really good songwriter and a dynamic performer. i caught him playing @ the Evening Muse in NODA a while back and was impressed. GOOD LUCK with yo studies :-)
