i made it to the all good the last two years. we're hitting up rothbury this year, otherwise we'd be there again. the first year we we're able to camp amongst the trees on top of the hill, which is the to go if you can. 90% of the music is in one spot, no overlapping sets, so that's cool. a shade tent, chairs, and a food table are clutch if you have access to them. camelbacks are a good idea as well. pacing yourself can be a challenge, i passed out and definitely missed some good sets. try to get there early, the line to get in can take 1/2 to an hour.

Tip: Bring extremely large cooler filled with ice and lots of your favorite beer. OK, bring a lil water too.

Been there the past 6 years and going again this year as well. Easily my favorite fest especially because it's basically very laid back and close to my house with a great line up and sound system EVERY year. They're prompt on start times, the whole event runs very smoothly, no cops and it's also the cheapest ticket by far for what you get.

Tips---it almost ALWAYS rains--every year. Be prepared for a major downpour on a moments notice.Last year it flash flooded to end the weekend just as Leftover was playing their last notes. Major rain to say the least.

If it's not raining, then it is often brutally hot. There is almost no way to see the show and be in shade unless you are at the very top of the hill by the trees or you bring a shade umbrella or something. There'll be lots of people already up there and it's not an ideal place to watch the show anyhow. So, bring lots of water and sunscreen for the day time.

They used to not allow any alcohol into the concert grounds as they like to sell 12 oz magic Hats for 4 bucks. Last year, they must've given up as they let people take ANYTHING into the actual venue as long as it wasn't in glass.

They can be pretty diligent on the search for glass, tanks, etc on your way into the venue.Once you get past that, no worries. We were totally sketched last year getting in as we had 4 cases of good beer in bottles. Thankfully we got em in no problem. But, my advise is to bring your beverages in somethng other than glass and at the very least, bring a cooler to put ice and a container in so you can bring whatever you want into the show and drink it from a cup. If you get parked far away, you will not want to walk back and forth to your car more than once or twice a day as it could be a haul.

There's usually a tent set up that sells CDs of anyone you might like---lots of hard to find stuff is usually available. There are also more "recreational activities" than you can imagine.
I was blown away by the blatent "openness" some people have when they "vend". If it exists, it's gonna be there. I've never seen an actual cop there FWIW.

Also, the earlier you get there--say before noon on Friday, the less wait in line you'll have. Usually it's under an hour (except one year when it flash-flooded Friday morning in the way in and washed out a road/bridge or something.

FWIW, they tend to clean the port-o-lets every morning, so at least that's not as big a deal as in some places (ie Bonarroo, Big Cypress). Bring your own TP though. There's a lot of food vendors but it'll cost you more than bringing in your own food.
They have showers for 5 bucks too i think.

Another tip, look me up and I'll say high! :D

I'm usually somewhere in the vicinity of the soundboard as my buddy records the whole weekend every year.

good point with the rain. While it is normally pretty hot, last year on friday (ratdog/sts9 night) it rained around 5 or 6 and got kind of chilly at night. be sure to bring at least one hoodie or some kind of warm clothes, tho most of your clothes should reflect the hot weather.

All Good is All Good for sure!!! I second most of the previously suggested items as i am also a veteran of all good. The key item to remember is a pop up canopy and water. Also, if you can get there on thursday, get set up, scout out the area and prepare for F-U-N FUN! this festi is a blast and the community is good too!

Wow, the fest looks killer, too bad I won't be back to the states until Sept especially since I'm gonna be in NC which isn't that much of a drive.

Speaking of festivals, does anyone know if there is an online list/schedule of all the festivals? I haven't been to a fest in years and would love to catch one ASAP. I'd imagine that I'm probably getting back to late in the year, but I'd like to look into it.

So you can bring glass into the camping area but not the venue? I am confused how it all works, never been before.

No glass allowed amywhere....but, if you can get it into the campground, you're good. They're diligent about no glass in the concert area though. That's why I say bring a container to carry it in to the show. Or, just bring non-galss and don't worry about it. Dale's pale ale in cans is a key.
