Hey Gang,
I recently received and have started perusing "Grateful Dead: What a Long, Strange Trip: The Stories Behind Every Song 1965-1995".

This looks like a very cool book, with great tid-bits about tons of songs that the Dead have recorded.
I have just cracked the surface on this one, but thought it worth mentioning.

There are alot of good pics and alot of good song specific qoutes from Jerry and other members.
You can probably see some of them at that Amazon link... it lets you cruise a bit of the book itself.

I just checked out the amazon page, and it looks like it's chock full of good pics of the band and friends (pranksters, etc). it'd almost be worth buying just for the nostalgia pics.
