Very nice Vic. How did you do the video transfer for your web site? Is it as simple as taking a avi file and converting to a flv flash file and it pulls up a flash player?

Hey Chris:

I'm working on a Mac, here ... but basically, I open the DVD video stream in a free program called MPEG Streamclip, mark the in and out points of the song, then export is as an FLV video file, using the highest quality setting, audio as a 192kbps MP3 file.

Some people are having trouble with the video; I think it depends on how your internet connection is setup. It runs great for me at home (Verizon FIOS) but I can't view it at work on a big ol' T1 or T3 line, the audio is okay but the video is jerky. I'm still trying to get a feel for whether the video is being served well enough to really publish that page.

Alright, cool.

If it's jerky I just pause it and let it complete the download. Cumberland streamed fine, the others were jerky. Could be that others were grabbing it at the same time too. I like how big it is and it's not a Youtube video. It's nice. Nice quality too.
