I have been doing some recording and am using a Electro Harmomix Poly Octave Generator with the dry and octave up settings off and sub octave at 10 for bass parts. Problem is this is entering alot of noise into the recording. The noise is visible in the waveform in protools. I cant gate the signal enuff to kill the noise. What do you guys use to record bass parts? Is there a pro-tools plug in you guys use? if anyone wants to see my latest stuff goto www.myspace.com/davidfixband
