So for my painting project at school I have to incorporate surrealism into anything I want. The canvas is huge so i have alot of space and i was thinking:

-Painting a star exploding at the top
-The particles from the star shoot out around it
-The bottom half of the canvas would have some mountains
-The particles from the star would converge and form into a river
-A field of diamonds on the side, with one diamond being shinyer than the others.

idk, can anyone give me some ideas as to how to paint "Dark Star". or if it's been done, can i get a link to some pics?

This is cool. What an awesome idea. If you want some inspiration just turn on Dark Star while altered and you will get some ideas.

My back piece is a dark star piece in the center i have glass hand dissolving in ice petal flowers revolving. I am planning on putting dark star crashes on my right shoulder, search light casting on the left, and surrounding it all with the transitive nightfall of diamonds. I picture this last part as a sunset, pinks and purples with some orange and of course diamonds. hope this helps with your vision, or atleast gave you some more ideas.

my friend tried to paint stoned with a dark star playing... three hours after he started he realized he wasnt drawing a star but a cosmic manatee floating through space . if you're gonna indulge before you start drawing, especially for school, make sure you control the dosage and not vice versa

thanks for the vid and your opinions. I probably won't get a chance to be altered since painting is last period. But I will def try at home and bring some of those in.

Anyone with some links to some sick dark stars?
