What are some of the most eclectic sets you are aware of

It's not a full set, but the weirdest thing I ever saw was the April Fool's Eve show in Portland ME, '85 with an inversed Playin Reprise > Playin'.

For real eclectic, maybe the early 70's shows where either Bob or Jerry had lost their voice and there were only Jerry or Bobby tunes for the whole show?

1-7-78 is one where Jerry lost his voice. it could be 1-8-78 though haha. But yeah one of them. Theres the April Fools show I think in 80 maybe? where they all switch instruments for Promised Land. Then after that sloppy rendition they switch back and play it for real. Good stuff

both of those shows have no Jerry vocal songs. Bobby must have been worn out after those.

Meet another '82 guy.
Manor Downs of that year had a U.J.B--> Truckin' which I have always loved and thought was a cool combo.Jerry kinda paints himself into a corner but semi-nimbly escapes into the Truckin'.
The other day I think( )I heard a Bertha-->Good lovin' intro that smoked.Cant remember the date......
Anyone else fighting a cold like me?

...the Playin'(Reprise) came at the following show:
7/4/89 Richfield, NY set II: Touch, Women, Ship, Playin' (Reprise)> Terrapin> Drums... technically, this may be the longest Playin In The Band ever!

Tops of my list though, was my my one and only front-row-rail-right between-Bob-and-Jerry experience,
4/15/88 Rosemont Horizon opening of Set I: Scarlet Begonias> Fire On The Mountain

I was at that rosemont show, can't remember much except I met Mrs Dave Torbet at the hotel, what a cool Queens(ny) chic, I love them girls from queens

Also, a lot of hotels right within walking distance kind of like Hampton, va

1982 was the last year our leader Jerry G was young and youthful(redundant..I know), you could still feel his vibrancy and his joy!

That run was pretty good.'89 seems like yesterday,huh.
I was with some friends and I called the Playing/Crazy Fingers.
My buddy was high as a kite and was blown away by my call.I heard them warming up though.Sneaky me.
The next show was good.
Then it was JFK Yeah!!!

My memory is not this good I had to search it out...

Hardware issues at the start if I remember or it could have been just a goof who knows...

Not really all that eclectic, but bizaro for me at the time. Kicked the show off with Kazoo's and horns and then into "The Frozen Logger", we were still getting right for the show and hiding out when it started, Goofy as all get out, but fun and it set the atmosphere for night... For me anyway.
