hey guys; I'm new here, this is my first post. anyway, im not sure where this is supposed to go so I'm putting it here: Does anyone know where I can find a tab of those sweet licks Jerry used to do at the beginning of the jam? You all know what i'm talking about. Ive just never been able to find any info on it or videos of him doing it.

i think He's Gone is the most under-rated jam song they had. What are your favorite versions?

Welcome! What era of the song? What part of the jam?

For the best success here I'd suggest finding a streamable copy on the archive and let us know where in the song you are hearing the sick jam!

Jdarks does a great tab for the Europe 72 solos. I dont know the link though. maybe someone else does?

Laytonco SS meant pick an archive version and point out the spot where the jam is and timestamp it for us lol. But anyways yeah are you talkin about the "solo" or the bluesy jam toward the end that usually transitions into TOO or Truckin

I think he's talking about the descending E licks Jerry often did to lead off the outro jam right after the "nothin's gonna bring him back" vocals.

I don't think this is what you're talking about but I just remembered this little thing.

yeah, i was talking about the licks Jerry would vamp on (most of the time) to begin the outro jam, after they finish their vocal refrain of "ooooo ooo, nothins gonna bring him back"

i guess i should have been more specific, haha. actually, i think im gonna go pop in Dead Ahead to see if i can find something from that version... i don't remember whether or not that jam has these jam-beginning riffs.

arrrgghhhh!!! damn them!!!!! everyone vibes on the lick... but of course the camera is wayyyyy zoomed out, and Jerry's left hand is conveniently positioned behind Bobby.

blast!!!
