I just bought a brand new cassette deck with pitch control and plan to take the best of my cassette collection and trasfer to CD. My computer burner is dead.

Rather than buy a new computer, I was thinking I'd get a CD Burner. Anybody have any reccomendations/ thoughts on what units are best/worse??

Any real benifit to running this through a computer (ie buy new comp. instead) instead of a dedicated Burner?
