When it doesn't fit anywhere else

I have a Resurrection Thahti Bolt that i love. I got it 3 years ago as a graduation gift from my dad. I love the guitar it sounds great looks great and plays awesome. Pat and Tim are great guys and are really easy to work with. They will do anything you want exactly to your specs. I highly recommend getting one. They are expensive but i really think it was worth every penny. Good luck.

I am approx. 1 month off from receiving my BOLT. It's been 1.5 years in the making but it's exactly what I want. I echo the sentiment that Tim and Pat are good guys ... just have patience and pray for no hurricanes in Florida.

Uhhh...SpaceYrface43......PICS PLEASE!!!!

BayAreaBB, do you have any pics of yours being made??? Would LOVE to see them!

And I as well echo the sentiments above. Great guys, easy to work with, and for all the folks I've talked to who have gotten a guitar from them, none have had a bad word to say and all are very happy with their instruments. There are a couple of threads on this site that talk about tribute guitars:

Check those out for references, too.

I posted some pics on here somewhere but couldn't find the thread, so here are some pics that Tim sent me of my Hollowbody that is scheduled for delivery in less than a month:

Hehe...I wondered the same thing. Infact, when I was talking to Pat just a few minutes ago regarding the electronics plate for the back (I wanted to make sure it's going to be Koa as well, which it is), I asked him "what's up with the Thahti Bolt you did for a guy 3 years ago?" and he had no idea what I was talking about. He said "get the serial number and I'll look it up for you".

how much did u all wind up spending? Im gonna get one that looks like j darks, with all that gold hardware, but im gonna get the lightning bolt instead of the sphinx

The Thahti Bolt is simply the name Tim or Pat gave the guitar. The guitar is an exact replica of Steven Cripe's lighting bolt (Flordia Guitar). With shipping cost included i think the guitar cost somewhere around $5100.00. JDarks resurrection is nice has lighting bolt neck with rosebud shaped body. I liked the sharper cuts of the lighting bolt so i went in that direction. My guitar is on the on pat and tim's website. There is a picture box at the top of their homepage that scrolls threw different guitars mine is the one the the skeleton head with rose in mouth cover plate. Only thing i wish i had pat and tim do is have midi Gk3 installed in my guitar. peace

spacehead333: if they don't, order them here:

http://www.jackofroses.com/index.htm

My guitar is going to run around $3800 with everything (having them install an FX bypass jack in the hollowbody).

SpaceYrface43: I think you can still have that done. You'd obviously need to send it back to them, but........Also, if you get a chance, I'd love to see some pics on here (esp. up close of the neck, bridge, headstock, etc. etc.) of the Thahti.

Thanks!

does all the midi stuff add a lot of price to the lightning bolt? how much would it be without it?
