I saw them in October in Eugene, OR for a 2 night run...the first night(fri.) was insane!! John (who plays Jerry) is ridiculous....such a great overall feel for Jerry's part- the singing, the riffs, the fills....just incredible. Can't wait to see them again in Portland,OR in March!!

Lazy Lightning-
Are you talking about Grateful Fest at Nelson Ledges? I was able to make it up there for the 4th back in '04. DSO and Keller for 3 nights!!! For those who don't know about this annual festi, you gotta check it out next summer! Nelson Ledges is a beautiful place.

I've seen DSO quite a few times. They always put on a great show.

I'll be at the Fox in Boulder for their NYE run as well. Can't wait.

Seen them quite a few times as well; they really are scary good at what they do. Taking the "tribute" band thing to a whole different level, for sure. I am particularly impressed with Rob Eaton, the "Bobby" in the band. It must be incredibly difficult to cop Mr. Weir's various rythm guitar styles over the years, and be able to switch in and out of them like he does.

So, LazyLightning, I assume you are talking about Nelson's Ledges over in Ohio? I go there quite a bit myself. We'll have to get together over there sometime.

yessir! the Ledges as we call it. theres many more fests there all summer long. ive seen countless numbers of bands and festivals there. they have a website too. ive been to grateful fest like 5 or 6 years in a row now. the Ledges are nice cuz for me its only an hour drive, and plenty of people to meet. ive got this 8 person army twill tent, its freakin great. we squeeze in about heads or more 8)

Yep, the Ledges is mighty nice. I live about an hour and a half away over in PA; seen many other fests there too. Especially like the Pink Floyd band they get there all the time, and went to July 4th two years go to see Little Feat and Rusted Root, etc.

Alright, we'll have to look each other up this year. I'm planning on selling my tie dyes at this year's Gratefulfest, at least.

How 'bout those Ravens, eh?

If you have the time, cover to Amsterdam in March for the
Jam in the Dam festival. DSO will be there and so will I.

yeah Wish you were here is the pink floyd tribute. they sound exactly like floyd on album, pretty amazing. i was there for Root and Little feat also, ive seen Rusted Root several times too, i forgot all about them. i should go back and get that good album they had.

but yeah we should definetly get together next season. my buddy has a glass booth there all summer, he might be willin to help you out slangin tie dyes, but its too much fun goin to every camp and seeing everyone, eventually someone buys somethin.

theres this awsome spot back in the "Warzone" (just the woods in back of the grounds) where theres these strong vines hangin from these trees, makes for some interesting swingin if your all goonin and shit.

theres also a few places where you can just walk right in from the street, but youd have to hide the fact youve got no wrist bracelet. ive never done it, i wouldnt reccomend it lol

the ravens yeah....the Baltimore Browns :(

I caught an exceptional Floyd tribute band at Bonaroo '03. I never knew what their name was, though. Could this be the same band?

Hey Jon you might be thinkin The machine? i saw them once and they put on a great floyd show.

Oh, don't be silly. The Ravens are not the Baltimore Browns. We make the playoffs and have won a Super Bowl. :P

Oh, yeah, very familiar with the warzone. Of course, I'm getting a bit older now and appreciate my sleep. I just love the park when it's nice enough out to make use of the quarry; it's one of my favorite places ever to swim.

Yeah, Wish You Were Here is amazing at what they do. I have seen Floyd both with and without Roger Waters, and I honestly have to say that Wish You Were Here was more convinving to me than Floyd without him. They are really, really good.

Yeah, maybe I'll wear a "Ravens AFC North Champs" shirt next year so you can pick me out of the crowd more easily.....
