Sell and buy at your own risk...

Howdy
I am reluctantly selling and or trading my prize possession - a '77 Ibanez 2700 Artist Custom. If you know what this is, then you know that they are very rare. It is in great shape and sounds amazing. It was made back when guitar makers cared. It includes a hard shell case, but the case is a bit beat up. Still works fine though. I have been watching these on eBay and they have gone from $1500 to well over $2000. This one is all original and works well. One of the pots is a little scratchy, but some electronics cleaner should fix it - I just need to find it... It has a Jerry or Bob tone that I have loved over the years. It is 100% original and sounds and plays amazing!

Message me for pics, I guess the board attachment quota has been reached...

I am looking for cash or to either trade for a vintage Fender Pro or Twin Reverb (non master volume). Might also consider an old Les Paul or Tele.

I won't accept any low-ball offers or offers to trade for crap. I love this guitar and would rather keep it than give it away.

Here is what I am interested in trading for:
* 60's or early 70's Fender Amp (Twin, Pro reverb, dual showman, bandmaster) in good working order
* Gibson Les Paul
* 70's Fender Telecaster (or 80's reissue)

Here's some more info on the 2700:

The Artist Custom is an ultra-rare model only manufactured for 18 months during 1977 and 1978. Although designated an Artist, the 2700 is the only guitar that incorporates the best features of both legendary Ibanez lines - the Artist Series and the Musician Series. The exotic woods, body styling and dark stained finish resemble the high-end Musician models (MC-300s, 400s and 500s), while the asymmetric cutaways and Castle Turret-Shaped Headstock are signature Artist. The 2700 is the only Artist model to ever bear the Musician's signature truss rod cover. Always handmade in solid brass, the lettering was customized to read "Artist" for the cover of this exclusive model. The 1977 catalog states: "The Artist Custom incorporates absolute state-of-the-art features in both construction and electronics . . . for the player who needs complete tonal control in an instrument of unsurpassed durability and beauty". This unique and little known guitar is one of the finest solid bodies ever made.
