I agree Rusty, these are great instruments for a really affordable price. When put a set of TI or Pyramid Flats on you can dial in some nice early 70 Phil tones, even with the stock pickups.
Then of course, like you have done, one can do some different modifications. For my red DeArmond I am waiting on a set of Curtis Novak Bi-sonic pickups.
