I thought the same thing. Why not put it up for auction with a reserve? Then again, maybe he did.

I've seen this listing before. Kinda bizarre, but some of those old tech collectors can be pretty eccentric. With the lack of organization in the pic he might be better off selling the whole building at prices like that. Or just hold an auction on site.

I'd pay $5k for 7 minutes and a shopping cart! Wasn't there a game show where you had X amount of time to grab all you could?

I don't think he's an eccentric collector, I think he's someone who has been in business as a repair person and used audio dealer for many decades and has retired or passed away and his children or heirs or representative is liquidating his assets. That's my guess. But yes, 15 minutes and a very big shopping cart (as well as a map) would work fine for me!
