The only problem I have with your work ...it makes me think I should take up crocheting & put down my guitars. It might be a better use of my time, and in 20 more years I might be able to participate in a knitting circle.
What really made me see your ability was that first rhythm track you posted. You're timing is metronomic, and the phrasing was spectacular. HIAB just doesn't need rhythm sense as much Lost Sailor. This is just opinion stuff from me, but that Lost Sailor was very freakin' professional to my ear.
Which leads me to ....knitting, crocheting ...maybe I'll try to grow roses.

Thanks for your kind words. My incredibly talented brother, Alan, did the drum programming and played bass & keyboards. He lives in Chicago (he's a professional musician and composer) and I live in LA so we did it remotely. Please don't give up playing. I've felt as you have many, many times in my life but have come to realize that playing music is completely a personal thing. If it gives you pleasure, that's all that matters, regardless of your ability. As guitarists, you have to be willing to put up with months or even years of feeling like you're on a plateau before you have a break-thru. Playing music, like life, is about learning. Of course, if crocheting, knitting or gardening give you pleasure, you should do those, too.
