So I had to bail on my plan to see Furthur at Red Rocks so I'm compensating - I saw Willie Nelson last night in Roanoke, I'm going to see Richard Thompson next week and Merle Haggard in about a month.

Willie was awesome. I've listened to some recent recordings and his guitar paying seemed a little shaky but he was on last night. He did a rapid fire through 30 songs or so at a pace only the Ramones could keep up with His son, Lukas is damn good as a player and singer. Willie's sense of melody is really fantastic. Pretty damn good for an 80 year old!
