Hi all,
figured I would make my presence known. spent alot of time lurkin around on the groups. enjoying the section on guitar building seeing as thats what I like doing. got a few builds under my belt and currently trying to finish up my interpretation of a D,Irwin tiger/rosebud style guitar with my own twist to it. Will post pics and vids when it is complete.next up after that is a Irwin Phil Lesh tiger style bass, needless to say I found the thread "D.irwin 4 string bass" very interesting with comments from Phil Saam. I will also post pics of that build as/when it happens. could be awhile based on my time constraints.
In the mean time my name is J.D. and I currently own a few different guitars which include a 1984 takamine GZ300 solid body, a 2000 fender deluxe player series strat, 2 handcrafted teles, a squire mini and a fender acoustic. amps are a 1964 fender bassman with a univox 2x12 cab, a late 60's Imperial tube amp ( made by lithco mfrg in Montreal, canada) and a fender mustang II. my pedals including a 1980 ts808, Qtron etc.....
