I picked up this album recently and it kicks ass. For those unfamiliar, this is an album of 13 traditional/folk songs either written by or made popular by Pete Seeger. With a variety of musicians, horns, banjos, accordions, etc, it's got a really awesome sound to it. Even my wife, not a big fan of traditional/folk songs, really liked this album.
Besides being a great album of music, it's a new type of disc (at least for me). One side is a traditional CD, the other side is a DVD with 2 bonus songs and a short movie of the making of the album. Very interesting stuff and definitely feels like you get more bang for your buck, so to speak.
For fans of traditional/folk music, I heartily recommend picking this up. I'm just pissed the concert supporting this album comes nowhere near me.
