Once in a blue moon I'll get an optical migraine. What it does is cause pretty intense visual "trails" in a certain part of my field of view, like tripping without the high (actually they are annoying and can make me pretty cranky), but just simple colorful trails- nothing more bizarre and nothing emotionally symbolic as what a real hallucinogenic trip can evoke. In my case these are rarely followed by a headache, which are nowhere near as severe as what most migraine sufferers report. The visual disturbance goes away after 10 to 20 minutes.

And NO, I don't know where you can "get any"!!!

I've been contemplating eating 'cid again (especially since my buddy is just sitting on a vial) but I'm a little hesitant, (plus too busy to have my head in clouds for a week.) Shrooms....I'll always love shrooms, and hope to eat them well into old age. I find them enlightening while totally controllable and unthreatening. I can largely get where I want to be with shrooms. I think 'cid is a bit more volatile and plays more to the extremes...a good acid trip definitely beats a good shroom. But a I don't think there's worse experience on this earth than a seriously bad acid trip. A "bad" shroom is gone by the morning. I seriously had my mind twisted up for months off one bad acid trip. However, ironically my bad acid trip was the exact thing I needed at that time in my life to set me straight, so now I look at the experience as being very positive when viewed from bigger perspective. It marked rock bottom and convinced my to stop it with the powders, focus on school, and focus on my health. I have done a few times since then with very positive results. Actually later 'cid trips served as the direct motivation for my career choice to study physical sciences. With all that said, I'm thinking maybe spring break in moab might be a good time to good time to indulge again.

I stopped dropping acid when i was 20. I got puddled at Nelsons and had the scariest experience of my life. I literally drank a handful of liquid......

i will eat some shrooms tho, i know its not technically trippin. you get "high" on shrooms but some of the effects are close. but I'll NEVER eat acid again. id like too, but the after effects for me were too much that one time.

at least you guys got to try it, i've been looking for some acid up here in hicksville for a while now but i cant find anything. they just dont make em like bear anymore

What do u mean shrooms arent technically trippin? Ive tripped my fucking ass off on shrooms just as hard as acid many times. To me, I feel as if shrooms and lsd are almost like the same guiding psychedelic force working their ways through different mediums. That being said, I would probly agree that i prefer acid over mushrooms if its good (but i never buy it at concerts anymore, cuz most of the times its sum asshole trying to sell you paper), but i trust mushrooms more than acid, just cuz, if u eat mushrooms, u trip, end of story; whereas the lsd molecule is much more unstable and easily destroyed. However, even though there are lots of little differences between the two, mushrooms and lsd both tend to effect me about the same way.

Btw, Weens comin to columbus in a little more than a week. Im so fuckin excited, I got my tickets n sum shrooms ready for a fuckin sweet night at promowest

Ive never had a "real" mind expanding, psycadelic experience on shrooms. no long ponderings of ones hand, no staring in the mirror at what you think is yourself. I'll feel like im trippin, but im not actually having a trip, im just high on shrooms.

agreed on that. theres no serious talk here tho, just a discussion. i harldy think some internet drug task force is gonna break down my door for something i did 6 years ago. there are much bigger fish to fry, and they know that. just dont affiliate with norml unless you want every federal eye watching you. i seriously think norml and the atf/fbi work together. they scare me

Flashbacks, i'm not sure if they were day dreams or what but one of the weirdest ones i had was driving home from work, a few weeks after 911 and i literally saw the sky being blown out by gun / missle fire leave dark space, as if the world was ending.
