Thank you to everyone for yourinput on this, it has really helped. The good thing learned is: I don't think I can go horribly wrong either way, and that being said, I think I'll go with my original gut decision & pick up a Lightning Bolt from Resurection Guitar Co. Thanks again, I'll keep y'all posted on how it goes & post some pics when I get it!

My buddy in Chicago has a Tiger near-clone being built by Resurrection that is nearing completion; I'll post some pics when he's got the finished axe, but I have seen some construction photos and the cocobola is just gorgeous, as are the abalone and brass inlays.

My same friend is on Moriarty's waiting list to have a Wolf replica built.

Hey Tigerstrat, any word on when it'll be completed? I'm still in the "process of elimination" in terms of choosing which guitar and company I am going with. I think I am down to 2, though: The "Lightning Bolt" model from Ressuraction Guitar Co. & the "Jerrycaster" by John Rueter. The choice is a lot harder than I thought it would be.
