in my opinion, brent was their worst keyboardist. i like JGB a lot more with Seals, no doubt. Brents voice was too hardcore eighties,

Wasn't Brent playing with the Dead during the 80s? Or it is just me?
In my opinion, getting rid of Keith mas a very tactial move, even if it wasn't intentional. 80's was a whole new ball park, Keith's style of playing, though very ellegant and cool, couldn't cut it. What was needed is power and energy and yes, a bit of MIDI.........for god sake, who wasn't using MIDI in those days?!
