I just read in USA Today that Phil Lesh has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. He says that sense it has been detected early he expects to have a quick and full recovery.

Best of luck goes out to Phil. Cancer is a hard thing to deal with for anyone and I hope he keeps truckin' on.

Hey y'all,

On a positive note, I'm and English teacher and have a student who is a biologist specialized in cancer research. She told me not long ago that there are now treatments that cure prostate cancer, that it's not the danger that it used to be. So I'd imagine that Phil should be fine, especially if it was caught early. I doubt he's gonna get knocked down that easy, so just smile, smile, smile.
