Well, that clears it up. I have to say, I read something a little different from the Alembic "historical" lesson, then what we all know to be true. No one should not try to infer something that is not exactly true, especially in a historical sense with a historical artist. I mean, what happened is what happened, even all being friends with businesses trying to sell guitars or not. Alembics history is amazing in itself, and the men and women that became legends from it, without having to rewrite it to own claim on Jerry's axe as original manufacturers, but still a fine line to argue here that is not explained.
It would kinda hack me off if I learned different, after spending a fortune and insisting to friends and others the same company that made Jerry's wolf was the same guys that made mine. From reading the passage, "Jeff really liked the wolf inlay Doug Irwin did on one of Jerry Garcia's Alembic guitars" it would be easy to assume that. Plus one stands to loose at grateful dead trivial pursuit if the question over the maker of the Wolf did arise, that would get me more mad!!
