Pat finally got the black Shaller stoptail in from Germany so the guitar is complete.

The guitar plays as good as it looks. Its just remarkable.

There aren't too many luthiers around that can build something like this.
Luthiers that come to mind whenever someone is looking for a garcia guitar would be, Irwin, Leiber, Moriarity, Resurrection, Cripe, Scott Walker (not really garcia guitar but he does build some great guitars with OBEL) and even Troy Post now. I dont know about Phiga.

The beauty of this guitar is you can get it now, no wait and it is perfect.

If any Rukinders are interested, pm me or call me (number is in the ebay auction) and we work something out. Dont know if it will sell on ebay but I am not in any real rush to sell it.

As an owner of a Troy Post build, I'd say that his guitars are inspired by Garcia's, but not specifically copies. Thinner, lighter, tone-wise very accurate... but not copies. They are creations unto their own...

I didnt even try to sell it until the tail piece came in. Just didnt look right but the black ones were back ordered for a couple of month until schaller ran another batch.

He seems to be doing nicer and nicer work. Pretty impressive young builder.
