10 watt all tube (point to point wired) 1962 Silvertone amp with Tremelo

I am taking the amp and building a head cab for it.

This little amp sounds pretty good. I replaced the preamp tubes to get more headroom. Still has original power tube and rectifier tubes.

The original speaker (has no name on it) had a hole in it. I plugged it into a 1x12 cab and it sounded great. Ill post what the tube types are later. Sweet little 10watt Tube amp. Cant wait to have it i the head case im working on. Thing will be easy to travel with for small rehearsals.

A kid i lived next door to had abunch of older little combo amps. He collects antiques etc. He had a few laying around some solid state others tube. This amp was in the best
condition of them all, was all tube with a tube rectifier and it worked. I think i paid him $30 awhile back but im just getting around to finally getting this thing together. Saw
this same amp for between $75-150 online a few months back.

Ha! Back in the 60's I used to spend hours drooling over those Silvertone amps in the Sears catalog. Hoping for the day I might get a REAL electric guitar!

That's pretty sweet, they have some Silvertone's and an amp from Montgomery-Ward up the street at my local ax shop. The feller that runs the place has a bunch of old old stuff in a back room, 1950's Fenders and such. There is something about those amps especially once they are serviced right... Too rich for my blood though, if I can remember I though I saw $350 on the Silvertone he had there...Sweet find for under $100!!

What is that input in the middle? I think I see three 1/4 inputs on the front...
