theres a pretty cool version of TOO on DP 22 (or 23?) and It's just a few seconds short of 40 minutes long. If you can get through the drums segment on it, i think its awesome.

man so far Im almost done w/ disk 1 on DP 12, this Spanish Jam just sounds amazing. I love shows that you can listen to all the way through without skipping a track and this is definitely one those shows. As I type this I just keep getting more excited over this jam

My favorite DP is one someone else already refferenced, Raceway Park 9/3/77.

A smokin' Eyes, Truckin', and Terrapin encore are what I can recall at the moment.

St. Stephen>NFA>St. Stephen>Help>Slip>Drums>Samson>Slipknot>Franklin's>One More Sat.>US Blues.

Set 1 is killer too. You should buy this one.

Yes, it is Vol. 5. I just checked. I bought it way back by mistake because I thought it had Keith instead of Brent. The whole first disc is amazing. The Brown-Eyed Women may be the best version I have ever heard and I don't even really like that song!

4 is the best, period. Disc 2 is only 2 songs, "Lovelight" and "The Other One". Both of them are a half an hour. It's the shows from the closing of the Fillmore East, I beleive.

Agreed; I've had this show for a while now, and I had no idea that show was on a DP. That 2nd set is probably the best looking setlist I have ever seen, and it smokes.

A DEFINITE BUY if you don't already have it.

number 8 gets my pick, it was played at where i go to school oddly enough, Harpur College, now known as SUNY Binghamton. Acoustic -> Electric is hot, enough said. I was talking to my guitar teacher the other day and he said that when he went to school here some 4 years after the concert, that it was still the talk of the town. I highly recommend finding this album, worth the listen. I dig Dire Wolf, Deep Elem Blues and Cumberland Blues.

volume 1 (12/19/73) was the 1st dead cd i ever bought...the opening Here Comes Sunshine>Big River, Miss 1/2 Step, Weather Report Suite was stellar and got me hooked. I still love listening to that show. However, I'm with everyone else on #15...I listen to that show constantly.

I have no DPs, but I guess my very first show is one, Pershing Auditorium in Lincoln, NE. Must be around '72. Is it a good one?
I am not a big consumer of anything, I don't have the Hundred Year Hall either. I've wanted that for years, maybe I'll spring for it.

i love the whole set list on 25, and they perform well, 20 has awesome segues most of the way through with a speedy eyes and a wheel that got me turned on to that song. different but great bertha and deal is good too
