Wow. If I had the $, I'd make an offer NOW! Hey, is the flanger in the 700 the same one as the AD 220 and 230? After recently reading a bunch of your posts, you seem to know quite a bit of info on Weir's equipment.

Hey! I do believe it is according to folks at the Vintage Ibanez forum. I've learned alot about his gear from GD gear book and folks here! Other weirhead-gearheads you should check out are Mkaufman and dozin. Alos the Vintage Ibanez forum for sure!

I get the feeling it be up for sale for a while!

Thanks man. Does the AD 220 have the same chip as well. I'm guessing the UE 400 is different. I use this unit and I believe Weir used it strictly in early 80s but you can definitely tell the difference in the sound of the flanger/chorus in the early 80s compared to 77-78. The 80s sound, although incredible, is not as warm.
