I'm in the Epi Dot club for sure! I bought one used, had my tech update to CTS pots and a good setup and loving her!

Definitely gets an early Weir HB sound.

I sold a bunch of those when I was working at the music store. Sweet guitars without the un-sweet Gibson price tag. Enjoy!

Kind of a Weir guy myself, I've had one that I bought new a couple months ago, also cherry red, and I absolutely love it. Swapping out the nut was essential, because it was impossible to keep it in tune with the stock plastic one. Other than that it's a phenomenal guitar for the price. I think with Epiphone, there are gems and lemons. I played another one at the store, same exact model, and it was a total dud. Then I picked up mine and it just sang, even before I plugged it in. The upper harmonics of each note come through beautifully. Been getting some kickass tones out of it. Congrats and enjoy!

Very much agreed. I bought mine used and said to the guy I need to hear it plugged in first. He said he'd either meet me at GC. His rocked and now she's mine :-)
