worth the money?

yes for sure. i got it a long time ago, and still love to listen to it. the first disc is awesome. they seem to be really energetic every night. in my opinion one of the best Morning Dews ever. a real good china doll, an amazing truckin, and the crowd is really into it as well, which makes it fun to listen to. the soundtrack is a fun time, check it out.

I believe a chunk of "Eyes" is clipped out. It seems much shorter than the one of the same date on the "So Many Roads" box set. I'll time it later and get bavck to you. Otherwise very decent release. Still my favorite U.S. Blues ever.

I'm not sure what the soundtrack to the movie is, but I would imagine it's the songs from the movie, plus some. So it's a compilation of the 10-16-74 through 10-20-74 run. And some editing, because I do remember some "furor" over the editing of Eyes (and something else I seem to remember).

So is it worth it? The shows are excellent. If you don't have access to anyone that has those shows, I would pick it up. However those shows are freely available from someone/somewhere/somehow (and I'm not talking about anything illegal here). So it will save a lot of time to buy the soundtrack, but you'll only be getting a piece of the picture. Personally, I think it's worth the time investment to find someone who has all the shows and do a trade or whatever.

snap so Eyes is edited huh? that version of Eyes is probably my favorite part on the movie...bummer
