I'm gonna do the build on a PartsCaster (Tele style) and just realized I don't have wire?!

Can something similar be bought at say Radio Shack?

What about the run to the bridge for ground? It's often some sort of different wire, yes?

I buy mine from Callaham. Its Black and White cloth covered, single conductor, 22Guage stranded wire. $1-ft from them.

I would think any 1C, 22G stranded that Radio Shack has would suffice to wire up the switch and output jack.

This is the same wire that I use for nearly everything, including my recently wired P-bass. I find solid-core easier to work with but you'll want to use braided anywhere that the wire will flex a lot, like 9V battery terminals for example.

nope, unless you want to go from star grounding to a bus type ground like in tiger (overkill for a tele me thinks) any ol' wire will do, well 22G etc

I don't see any reason why the bridge ground wire needs to be anything special.

I think if it is, it's usually because people will rewire a whole instrument with new wire but leave the existing wire to the bridge just because it's kind of a pain to change it. It's the one and only original wire in my P-bass, for example, which has seen all new wiring other than that one at least twice in the time I've had it.
