OMG - I'm playing a Holiday Inn and a Moose Lodge in the same month - maybe we should change our name to "Murph and the Magictones"

Hopefully we'll get more than the 10 people that came out there to see Donna Jean & Jeff Mattson - we brought 5 of them . . .

my rhythm guitarist played holiday inns 6 day a week in the late 70's. He would have played seven, but in Mississippi at that time you were forced a day of rest even if you wanted to work Sundays, he is a devout Atheist and loathes religion being pushed on him. Oh, and I think its Murph and the Murphtones. Good luck either way, you may get a regular gig out of it....
